Plantonoid is an organism that had few of life source elements. First, it's food, like human foods. and second is Sun Energy. Like the usual plant, the plantonoids couldn't survive without Sun Energy. That's why each plantonoids had provided a device to absurd and store sun energy (in TOMA's case is her headband) as a supply when they were at a sun blocked place or dark place.
Without those device, they would collapse after few hours when night or at dark place and would wake up after morning or got enough energy source.
The other Energy source is Oxygen. like an organism in common.

Delusional TOMA

TOMA is the first PLANTONOID who've been created. She was born from tomato seed and had a master named Chika who also her first and eternal love (well, she said that). She has a childish and happy go lucky character. sometimes her delusional mode take over too. She tried her best to got her master's attention, but unfortunately always failed.
TOMA didn't get any special setting based on the posible function like latest plantonoid. In change, she could be able to became anything that her master wants and her own willing what she wants to be.
TOMA is a trial that purposed to gather up data of how their interaction to human generally and their master. And also wether they survived or failed instead.

Plantonoid.. what is Plantonoid ?

Plantonoid is a project that create a human life form from combining plant's DNA and human DNA itself. Each Plantonoid can be obtained by ordering the Plantonoid's seed from the certain company.
After planting the seed that you have ordered into the special pot(vase) which provided by the company in several days, the Plantonoid will be born from the fruit of plant that you have planted earlier.
Plantonoid was designed to loyal to it's master. Therefore, not every people can order/buy a Plantonoid. Only a chosen people or a people that can surpass the exam can have the Plantonoid.

Project Plantonoid was purposed to create human-source with many possible function which will based on the client's demand.
